CCG Constitution

The CCG’s Constitution sets out our functions, responsibilities and values as a body commissioning healthcare services for the people of Brighton and Hove.

It includes those of our staff, member GP practices, Governing Body, all sub-committees and anyone working on our behalf.

Our Constitution also details how we can meet our responsibilities through transparent, open decision making that has patients and the public at its heart.

Conflicts of Interest Policy

This policy sets out how the Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will manage conflict of interests arising from the operation of the CCG.

Fraud, Bribery and Corruption Policy

The Fraud, Bribery and Corruption Policy relates to all forms of fraud, bribery and corruption and is intended to provide direction and help to employees who may identify suspected fraud. It provides a framework for responding to suspicions of fraud, advice and information on various aspects of fraud and implications of an investigation.

This policy applies to all employees of the CCG, regardless of position held, as well as consultants, vendors, contractors, and/or any other parties who have a business relationship with the CCG.

Hospitality, Gifts and Sponsorship Policy

This Policy covers the provision and receipt of hospitality and must be followed in determining the appropriateness of such activities. The Policy also addresses the giving and receiving of gifts, accepting sponsorship and carrying out work for other organisations while employed by the CCG. These topics are covered by the same Policy because the same high standards of behaviour are required.

This policy applies to all CCG staff (permanent, bank, full-time and part-time), including Non-Executive Directors, Governing Body members and Committee members and all references to 'staff' in this document shall be construed accordingly and will supersede all other relevant policies under previous terms and conditions of employment held by individuals who have transferred into the CCG from other NHS organisations.

Subject Access Request Procedures

Subject Access Request Form

This form is for members of the public or staff to use when making a Subject Access Request (SAR) to the CCG.

It cannot be used to request records from GPs or other heatlhcare providers. For such requests it is necessary to contact the organisation holding the records directly.
