Have your say on local NHS plans for the future
Brighton and Hove residents are being invited to discuss the financial challenge currently faced by the NHS and what it means for local services.
As part of the Big Health and Care Conversation, a series of public drop-in sessions are being held by NHS Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) across the city in the coming weeks.
The NHS, both nationally and locally, is facing significant financial pressures and the CCG is required to make £14 million of savings this financial year. People will be able to discuss in detail how this will be done and what actions the CCG is taking to ensure local residents continue to get the healthcare they need.
We have committed to being open, honest and transparent about our finances, and these public meetings are part of this. We want to have open and honest conversations with the people we service about how we can best use the limited resources we have available and to get your feedback and views to help us make decisions in the best possible way.
