Small Grants Scheme

At the end of 2015, the CCG invited Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) in the city to submit proposals for grants of up to £500 against criteria focused on increasing membership of their PPG, increasing diversity within their membership and linking to local communities.

You can see full details of the grants awarded in the table below.

PPG Annual Learning Event 30 October

On 30 October, Community Works held a well attended and received event for PPGs.  This was a great opportunity to:

  • learn from each other and access information and support. We explored applying for funding, involving younger people, running a virtual PPG and resolving day to day issues
  • discuss sustaining GP practices in the City with Dr David Supple, Clinical Chair, Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group
  • find out more about Amaze, the Carer’s Centre, Sussex Interpreting Services, GP Online Services and Mothers Uncovered
  • enjoy a delicious cake

Many thanks to all who attended and help us to turn this event into such a great success.
