New SignLive service for Deaf people
Deaf British Sign Language (BSL) users are now able to provide views on experiences of NHS services, respond to BSL interpreted surveys, and get involved in public consultations using a Video Relay Service (VRS) called SignLive; a free app which connects Deaf people to a qualified British Sign Language Interpreter.
Simply download the SignLive app, register your details, and search for NHS Brighton and Hove in the Community Directory. An interpreter will join you on the call before the call is put through to the engagement team.
The service will be available for two hours twice a week at the following times:
Monday 2 December 11:30-13:30
Thursday 5 December 14:00-16:00
Wednesday 11 December 09:30-11:30
Tuesday 17 December 14:00-16:00
Wednesday 18 December 14:30-16:30
Over the Christmas period the Signlive phone will be checked occasionally for messages, but if you have an urgent request please contact email@example.com
