The Big Conversation: 'You said, We Did' Event

Date: Wednesday 28 February
Time: 13:30-16:00
Venue:  Brighthelm Centre, North Road, Brighton, BN1 1YD

The Big Health and Care Conversation took place across Brighton and Hove over six months between July and December 2017. During this time, teams from the local NHS, local authority and community and voluntary sector organisations had nearly 3000 conversations with local people to find out what people want from health and care in the coming years.

This event is a chance to share some of the feedback that we have heard, as well as hearing how the local authority and health services will be using the feedback to shape services in Brighton and Hove.

The event is free but please do book a place to attend. You can book via Eventbrite

If you have any accessibility needs, please let us know in advance so that we can do our best to give you full and equal access.

Thriving not (just) surviving

Date: Thursday 22 February
Time: 9.20 – 16:30
Venue: Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton BN1 1AF

Join Community Works for this one day event exploring the themes of hardship and opportunity as faced in particular by individuals from BAME and the Deaf/deaf community. Providing the chance to update your knowledge, strengthen your personal development in this area and improve on your service practice the day will not just focus on the negative impact of hardship but explore the positive interventions and practices that enable people to thrive rather than simply just survive.

For information and booking please see the Community Works Website.
